    My question was 'loaded' only to the extent of trying to get some discussion here about people's favourites. If it helps, my Top 5 collection pieces (not necessarily my grail pieces) are;

    Panerai Vintage Ref 6152
    Patek Phillipe Nautilus Ref. 3700/1
    Royal Oak Jumbo A-series
    Lange & Soehne Zeitwerk Luminous
    FP Journe Octa Calendrier

Something in here for everyone, fancy complications, vintage and sport

A watch company founded in 1833 is a "trend" insofar as their latest lineup was released this week.

And the fact that you feel the need to mock somebody, somewhere in a thread of over 9000 posts who mentions they like Zenith speaks more to your lack of decency than anything else.

By all means then, show us what you got and we will happily drool over them.

I can see you like the collective benefits of jumping on the bandwagon?

OK. Your perspective is indeed profound and has proved nothing but the very fact that you are group-think sheeple material.

$13,000? Maybe you mean GBP and not USD. The absolute lowest I've seen is slightly north of $18k w/o box or papers.

You're right. It is suspiciously low price for that watch

There is only one available at that price from a private seller on Chrono24:

You guys are right the price is low. I too would be slightly hesitant of pulling the trigger on that particular one. The rest are available around ~$17-18k and up.

I would just take his statement more generally though. Like I said, you could take 13k and obtain a few solid watches, or throw it all at one really good watch like an PP, VC, or ALS (I think a Saxonia could be had for that price).

The larger point that got lost in all the ridiculous tangents above was that I personally would not pay 13k for some ambigious richemont watch with the RL name on it when there are much, much better alternatives out there

I always say if you looking for a watch do it among watch brands :)

Yes...I'm pretty disappointed with the re-design, especially the triple date window and the red accents.

I do like the look of the new Spitfire Chrono with raised numbers. All Pics from SIHH and on the WUS website. SIHH Pics on WUS.

I think you just did. If someone is mocking a brand, then it's helpful to know where he's coming from. Now you know. Just to be clear: my post was not meant to support his view. That GP is far from an attractive watch.

I think you missed my point; see above.
