1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

The Royal Oak. The Nautilus is a follower of the trend the Royal Oak started and will never be as classic.

+1 to both. the seamless bracelet integration, and overall design is awesome.

Well well well! What a sight for sore eyes :) Mr Gerald Genta is in the house (sadly no longer with us) Dukes this is such a great dilemma and what a birthday treat you will have because both are winners in their own right and both have a similar 'dress' look.
AP have for this year 'new' released the 15400 (there's one in 41mm and 39mm like the original design) well worth consideration. Patek, do in my opinion have the edge on design and build (the protected winder for example and (movement is now their own) - A JLC base Calibre is in the AP - but if I'm pushed I think I'd take the AP with the version with 'seconds' hand.
There's a huge difference in cost with the two Brands and therefore ...dollar for dollar.
    Its AP!

I am going to go with the group think... AP! And spend the difference between the Royal Oak and the Nautilus on another watch!

Two great watches, I would love either one, and im sure you would too. Something has always drawn me to the AP RO but looking at it side by side with the Nautilus, its a really tough call. I'd probably go with the RO, 15400, white face.

Here's the NEW 15400ST curiosity of AP's website - notice the subtle detail changes (kinda stop the difference time) . 41mm.
