Yep - a legendary diving watch.
Singular's watch is an original from the 1970s, but Omega also reissued the watch a couple of years ago.

Prices for used PloProfs have quadrupled in the past 10-12 years and so I suppose that Omega thought that it was time to revisit the design, especially as big watches are in nowadays.

A friend of mine at high school was given a PloProf by his dad, back in the 1980s. His parents had recently divorced and I suspect that his dad felt guilty.
Of course, we knew absolutely nothing about watches, but were intrigued by the massive size of the watch, the bezel and crown.
He wore the watch every day, but one day I noticed that he wasn't wearing it and I asked him why.
He said that he had been chopping wood the previous day when the hands fell off! I don't know if he ever had it repaired.

I think it's actually a 232. A beautiful SE base that Panerai released a few years back.

Thanks guys. Everyone is right. It's a 210 that has been modded with 232 hands.

I figured I would post a shot of my Breitling from today before I swapped out the bracelet for a brown leather strap.

Drew, check out post #2 in this thread :)

Vbuskirk, looks great. But are they genuine 232 hands or aftermarket? How could you get OEM parts like this given how tightly OP controls its repair shops and parts?
