My very modest and humble contribution to this amzing thread:
As a student I have little disposable income.

A Seiko Sportura Chrongraph (it looks more subtle in real life)(it has a small case diameter which is perfect for my girly wrists.)
And an old (pre WOII me thinks) Omega that used to belong to my dad and his dad.
I never wear it and I should go to the watchmaker to get it "renovated" the calliber still runs perfectly do.

I like the Daytona but whats with all the ridiculous ****** bracelets on this thread? It's supposed to be watch Appreciation. Those bracelets are the Appreciation equivalent of seeing a glimpse of a hairy taint like Terry Waite's allotment on an otherwise beautiful naked girl.

Stunning watch. I love to see pics of the Daytona. I miss mine alot. Should have never sold it, but my wife loved the wedding, so it was worth it. Now I am just waiting for my call to get another one, maybe a white face this time.

Thanks. I got this watch on ebay a long time ago but it came with a metal band that way too small for me to wear, and I got an old Omega around the same time so I never ended up wearing it at all. Then I got this nylon strap a few weeks ago and tried it with the Omega and it didnt look right so I tried it on this watch and Ive had it on every day since. If only it was an automatic and not a manual wind watch.

Nice watches in here.
I am currently saving up for a rolex - not sure which one to get.
I'll be buying it on my trip to NY soon.
