1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

    And this one.

I believe Genta was only 23 when he designed that.

Have you shown this one before? Possibly someone else did, too, I seem to recall seeing it here. Either way, lovely watch, then and now.

God that Patek is gorgeous. If only it didn't have all those damn diamonds on it.

I believe Genta was only 23 when he designed that.

Following this exploit, Universal Genève introduced a watch with the name "Polarouter" in fall 1954. It was created and designed by one of the most admired watchmakers of the 20th century, Gerald Genta. He later created the "Royal Oak" for Audemars Piguet and the "Nautilus" for Patek Philippe.

I am pretty sure that the JLC is a P478, and it is approx 32-33mm. Nope, it's not an old Daytona - it's the Heuer equivalent, an Autavia. See pic below!

I like to mix it up over the course of the week.

    Nice!

Hamilton has many more expensive watches, but there are cheaper ones as well. All of these retail above $500, but can be found well below that even from AD channels as mentioned. They have all of the qualities you mention (sapphire crystal, swiss ETA movement), and IMO, look great as well. No knock against CW, as I haven't ever handled one and they look fine, but they are not unique.

sorry to quote something so old...but name, model number and link for the hamilton, please? also, any additional pictures of this watch? maybe a straight shot of the dial?
