    Why would you not go for the Speedy Pro ?
    I wondered about that too, and thought it either was due to disliking manual winding, preferring the other dial design or already owning a Pro.

    Manual winding and no date.
    If so, there's also this:

    Manual winding is desirable in my opinion, especially if it has a display back. No rotor to obstruct your view. Also the daily wind is something you start to look forward to, i am sure like how some look forward to polishing their shoes.

    I prefer manual winding. It's part of my morning routine.

    okay I need some advise...

    I'm within striking distance to get a rolex sub, the former model- not the new ceramic bezel ones and no rolex-hate comments please, but I've been also looking at the new GMT2 which would put my budget back a bit but I can probably afford to get in a few more months. now I'm stumped on whether to get the sub or wait out for the gmt2.
