    Thanks. I've been wanting to get into higher end mechanical watches for a while now, but everything else just seems to take precedence, so I just have this O&W and a Seiko Black Monster for my everyday beaters.

    I posted this watch a few weeks back when I first got it. It was my grandfather's 25 year service watch from 1974. He died 20 years ago and it came to me in a roundabout way a couple of months ago sporting a pretty "bling" non original gold bracelet. I thought I'd repost it with the new Hadley Roma croc strap. It's like a whole different watch.

    small timer here. has just purchased this. [​IMG] should i change the strap to other colours, not getting the NATO one though.

    ^ I usually prefer less busy watches, but I think that looks great - and I think the strap suits it.

    i think the seiko 5 is one of the best value watches around.
    singular i love that speedy, what model is it? its the only variant that i prefer to the moonwatch.
    looks great on the bracelet too, you had it on leather before didnt you? is the bracelet a 1171?
