    [IMG] Regards.
Nice, but some of those watches seem to have too few diamonds[IMG]

I never understood the fascination with Panerai but I have to say over time they have grown on me. I'm considering one as my next watch (looking at the 111).

Watches are such a personal thing.

And Panerai are overpriced, oversized, fashion watches in my personal opinion. [IMG]

I love this presentation, it's the first time I've seen a Rolex and really liked it. Any info on the strap?

The strap comes from my hobby webshop (in the signature) - it's made of kangaroo skin.

    Nice.

Of course, showing the watch and sharing the model name will also help drawing peoples attention away from it.

They are all spoken for already. No worries.

I'm not thinking of anyone in particular, but I will say this: it's funny how many people make fun of Panerais for their size, only to favor smaller watches that are tragically ugly.

Am I the only one who doesn't like Panerai here? This grand seiko spring drive(with a brown shell cordo strap) is my current dream watch:

watches are indeed such personal preference.

The watch above reminds me of a Hyundai genesis......or a Chrysler 300

Agreed. Pretty cheesy looking to me. That said, there are some very, very nice looking Grand Seikos.

I thought they looked awful. Then I saw them in person and they looked really good. Not enough for me to shuck out several grand. But they would be in the running if I was willing to spend that much $$$ on a watch.

Please pardon my ignorance but do the Panerais and big IWCs have works that fill all that space with big cogs and wheels or are the movements smaller than the cases?
