Nah. Too much trouble and I don't want to do any post-manufacture mucking around. By the way, have you seen the new basic 42mm Radiomirs with the new seconds-only inhouse P.999 movement? The titanium one even comes with gold hands. I haven't been so interested in a new Panerai in a long time. PAM338: [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
I hope that movement shown above is not representative of the final product... the press photos I've seen showed wide, visible anglage on all the bridges and a swan neck regulator that appear to be missing from the photos above. The polishing on the screw heads also look a bit underwhelming, and there's no chamfering of the screw holes themselves.

You can gauge this from this crappy cellphone picture? [IMG]

It's pretty easy to see that there's no chamfering of the screw holes... you may have a point about the polish on the heads themselves, but if you look at the slots on the screws they are clearly unfinished. Pretty underwhelming if this is the final product.

You have better eyes than me. I can't tell anything about the head polishing for sure but I can't tell much about the chamfering either - the closest one (next to "Swiss Made") seem to have some angle to it although I couldn't be sure.

It's entirely possible that the movement in the pictures is not production-ready.

Looks as though Lange had an incredibly strong and prolific showing at SIHH this year, with eight introductions including three all-new complications! I'm lusting after this Saxonia annual calendar... much prefer its clean dial, moonphase and big date it to the Patek 5146. Better start saving now [IMG]

Photo credit goes to Tony P over at PuristSPro.

Lange's 2010 showing is arguably one of the strongest in recent memory by any manufacture, either in Geneva or Basel. For those interested, expert photographic coverage can be viewed from both SJX and Tony P of PuristSPro.

A new 1815 chrono is among the novelties unveiled... but the Saxonia annual calendar is my favorite [IMG]
