Minor thread hijack. Does anyone have a good source on the proper way to fit a zulu strap. I know how to fit a Nato strap, but have had no luck finding a guide on fitting a zulu.

Custom order. ABP or Camille Fournet for high end. Banda for lower price.

Fleming's in Atlanta also makes custom alligator bands. Also not inexpensive, but very nice stuff and they're a pleasure to deal with.

Anyone got any steampunk-y ones or ones that have a clear clock face that show moving gears?

Patek can make that on a special order. You are welcome.

    Regards.

My wife purchased a Christopher Ward Malvern Automatic C5SKS for me for Christmas. [IMG] It's our fourth order from Chris Ward to Canada. Saved lots of $$$ on duty via Royal Mail rather than the US outlet. Between 6 and 8 days is the norm. This one was ordered Dec 8th and was signed for by Canada Post Dec 12. And now it sits in Canada Customs. As the email from Canada Post CS says 'they have the legal right to hold as long as they see fit'. As such, it's been sitting there for 13 days. Understanding this is a busy time of the year, it is still so bloody unacceptable. So, thanks Canada Customs. Thanks a lot! Merry fucking Christmas to you, too.

Royal Mail passing through Canadian customs, is that how it generally works?

My current watch is the Christopher Ward C3 Malvern Chronograph. It seems to eat battery life though!! The dials are based on the dashboard dials of a vintage Aston Martin!
