1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Nice, but some of those watches seem to have too few diamonds [IMG]

Alas, gents, I hate to admit it, but I was too complacent and lost the bid at the last minute. [IMG]

It was listed as a fully restored circa 1960s model, and got sold to the winning bidder at £650.

    Agreed. I've learnt my lesson!

Anyhow, does anyone know what the market value would be for fully restored vintage Omega models like those circa 1960 go for? Just wondering what would be the threshold price beyond which it wouldn't be worth paying...

Vintage Omegas like the one you showed are extremely popular at the moment - meaning that even mediocre or restored examples (as the one shown) examples fetch really high prices. Personally, I would hardly pay half of what the example below sold for...
