1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I think PG was complaining this thread was side tracked for a while. He should be happier now.

Woah, love your collection medtech! [IMG]

Thanks for the kind words. Ironically, that 1815 chrono is one of the primary reasons I haven't done some EG or G&G damage at your shop (yet...)

The highlight of the 1815 chrono: one of the most beautiful movements ever produced...

This thread has been bumped up a notch. Really like the Lange 1815 chrono [IMG]

Nice job on the strap combo. Fairly unusual to see the copper face - works well here.

If my Malvern Auto does not appear soon (24 days and counting at Canada fucking Customs), I may go for this. [IMG] [IMG]

I'm an ABC, but of American vintage, not Aussie. I was based out of Sydney for two years and went to grad school in Lausanne, so looks like we've got some good overlap in our home bases!

I don't see why people are getting upset with cheaper watches being posted.

It's a pr0n thread. People would be a little disappointed if the shoe p0rn thread became over-run with pictures of Aldo shoes and no more pr0n-worthy ones, no? Imazine, dozens of posts on the various Aldo models and the benefit of getting the light brown bicycle-toe vs the medium-brown square-toe... [IMG]

Not everyone here can afford some of those super expensive watches. Regardless of this being a pr0n thread, there are some very good watches out there that don't cost the stratosphere and are worthy of this thread, despite what some may say. It's not like this thread is overrun with just such watches all the time. Some people here just need to relax a little.

I don't want Aldo shoes in the shoe thread, but the Chris Ward watches aren't so bad that members are getting their Hermes banana hammocks in a bunch over their postings.

Some people think youre not good enough if you can spend a couple grand on a watch apparently.
