There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

^ LW looks like something a bohemian Klingon would wear.

I just sent my old Seamaster two tone blue dial to Shane Ede http://watch-repairs.vrx.net/ Very nice guy. He was recommended on watchuseek or the Rolex forums, can't remember which. He had a few problems with the repair, the crown tube was stripped and he had to drill it out. He said that Omega would have replaced the case and that he wouldn't do another one. He polished the case and said it looks like new but I have yet to see it.

Kind of a weak recommendation but at least you now have a name!

Rog, I really like the cushion-style case and the numbers, hand, and subdial, but I really don't like the date window.

I know that these things are subjective but, to me, it's an unnecessary detail and I particularly don't like the way that it cuts into the seconds sub-dial.

Frankly, if it weren't for that, I'd probably get the watch as I saw it in the metal a few weeks ago and really liked it apart from the date window.

Oh I hear you - and agree to a point. As I said, I wish the date wasn't there. But it's not a deal breaker for me. I've seen the watch in-person and that little date Window really doesn't jump out at you. I thought it was just as unnecessary a detail here, and it didn't stop me: [IMG]

Did you get that, roger? It is a great watch and, I think, underrated. The day counter is a deal-killer for me, but I understand that others don't feel that way.

No doubt. For me the cyclops on most Rolex is a deal killer but they still sell bazillions of them.

Gorgeous but the date RUINS it. Ugh. Thanks, TWAT for making me realize things like this.

Is that the 44mm version with calibre 9300 movement? Sweet. I quite like the '57 model, in a slightly more diminutive case size (41 or 42 mm I believe?). For my puny 6.75" wrists, 44mm felt too big.

Yes. Truth be told, the watch would be perfect at 42mm.
