I have had that watch on. It is freaking unreal. There are only 3 dial choices. Black, Blue and Silver.

That was my understanding as well. I cannot wait to try them on.

That silver dial is so stunning in person that you are going to forget all about whatever contrast you might want. It is different at every angle.

TWAT spectacularly busy for a weekend. Say what you want, @mafoofan has really upped the discussion of late Anyways just wanted to share a quickie - my first sapphire crystal ding, on my DSSD no less. Must've whacked it against something pretty hard, this is where the thickness hurts I must admit. Anyways, didn't want to send it to RSC, as I heard they insist on a full service on top of any crystal work. Since the scratch seemed relatively small and shallow, and thankfully away from the bezel, I figured I would try the diamond paste route. 8 minutes later and voila - clean crystal once again. Hope for those that worry about scratching the glass :) the scratch is at about 7'oclock next to the "O" in "Officially". Small but damn if it didn't annoy me every time I looked down at it [IMG] 3 different grades of diamond paste - about $35 total with shipping [IMG] A little patience, a lot of scotch tape.. [IMG] Nice clean crystal again.. [IMG] It's going to be a good Sunday. Even if my 'Skins are going to lose tomorrow...

Then you will be wanting the 15300. Which is painted white. And I don't think so nice. I mean, nice. But....

That's the thing with the silver dial: the light plays weird perspective tricks with it, almost like it's moving:

But to be honest, my dear Stitchy, I think you should hold out for what you really want. Which, surely, is

15400 with silver dial is magical. I was unsure about the monochromatic effect but the dial is so brilliant it makes the white faced predecessor seem very flat and ordinary in comparison.

Sure, Stitch, but with the caveat that you really must see it in person. FWIW, I don't think any layperson who sees this watch on my wrist from a distance of more than a couple of feet would describe the dial as "silver". Here's an attempt to show the whole range.

Well, Stichmeister, it's new and silver, or old and white (and 39mm). But there is a white Jumbo, of course...if it has to be new and white, then maybe it has to be that.

But look at those pics. That watch is definitely "bad-ass", as I believe you gentlemen say.

That's my favorite too. It was the first pic I took of the watch--on my 4 hour drive home after picking her up! :)
