Not sure if this qualifies as "p0rn"...but...

I just picked this guy up:

IWC Portuguese Chrono (3714-17) - It's my first IWC and my first "more dressy" watch. I'm looking for a good brown croc/gator strap for it.

I think this is going to force me to sell this Tag as I can't really justify three 7750s in the house at once. Haha.

The IWC is awesome, are the hands blue?? very nice watch

It's to stop me from missing my trains and being late in general; I will also set the Orion a few minutes fast once I start wearing it...

My collection is slowly growing with two watches on the way in the coming weeks. I've got a series of pics of my current watches ready but I'll post them one at a time. I probably should have cleaned the BB watch up before I took these shots, but you get the idea. I'll start with my first real watch purchase: [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] I should point out that the watch read 2320-ish when I took these photos, hence the date display between the 12th and 13th. The Omega will be next

Hmm, watch photography seems to be much trickier than shoe photography... [IMG]

    Ahhhh jealousy sets in.

    Very nice.

Thanks, guys. It'll be my last watch purchase for a while - this watch collecting business is bloody expensive!

What do these run in $ ?

I was told the RRP is EUR 1,200 for the sapphire case back version. There's a few websites quoting USD prices:

Possibly not the correct thread for this post but seeing as this is by far the most viewed and posted I thought I'd go for exposure and varied informed opinions rather than a few select viewings [IMG] I'm stuck for a watch. I've a gold/silver/racing green similar to https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/248/9086...860?$thumb137$ (more gold and a dark green face/background), Accurist in brand, less so in nature. And style. Looking to spend up to ~£400/€450/$600 on something between dress and classic/chrono to replace my current lug. It's probably best I pictorialise my likes/dislikes: *for me*, likes: At most simplistic: [IMG] http://www.precisiontime.co.uk/image...FC-292S3P6.jpg Close, but too busy design: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...DL._SS500_.jpg Nice apart from the rather 'blingy' outer ring (terminology, along with style, isn't my strength...) [IMG] Closer, if not a little too thick an outer ring still (I'm picky!) [IMG] Again, nice but needs some IWC thinning of the rings/style http://s7ondemand4.scene7.com/is/ima...82?$detail475$ Same here, just the wrong shape for me: [IMG] About perfect, but something with a little more whitespace (and £700 too much (need new shoes + suits too....): [IMG] Love, but too pricey: [IMG] Like, but £10 on ebay. From China. Enough said: [IMG] Dislikes: dive/black/Rolex watches (completely personal preference, they're great watches, just not what I'm currently looking for) [IMG] I've not the largest wrists in the world so something smaller/medium rather than something that looks like a spare part to a Hummer would be preferable. Rather long post pic-wise but all things considered watches are visual in character. From Lange Sohne, Patek Philipe, Maurice Lacroix to Frederick Constantin, Ingersoll, that whole styling if not a little more Longines in look/name, cleaner more classic front; Nomas-y but more 'classic/olde English' if possible. So difficult to describe. That said, I don't want a fake/replica VC, JL or Lange. Anyone still reading, 'it's good, but it's not (quite) right': http://www.schmiemann.de/Media/Shop/...1203-rwh_a.jpg http://www.schmiemann.de/Media/Shop/...-in4403rwh.jpg http://www.schmiemann.de/Media/Shop/...n-in4503wh.jpg http://www.schmiemann.de/Media/Shop/...n-in6901sl.jpg http://www.schmiemann.de/Media/Shop/...-4701-wh_a.jpg http://www.schmiemann.de/Media/Shop/...1203-rwh_a.jpg http://cdn.overstock.com/images/products/L10098281a.jpg

Thanks very much! The hands and markers are both fired blue. It has definitely replaced everything in my watch case.

Yeah that is an awesome piece, I have a white/blue aqua terra and love the look of the blue hands, but the dial and case on the IWC have always been much more appealing...maybe someday I will lose my Sub and Omega for that IWC
