1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Anyone looking to buy H Moser & Cie? Unusually for my local AD's, I can actually get a good price: fact is that nobody here knows the maker, aficionados are few, and they've been sitting there for ages. The AD won't be keeping the agency or re-ordering so is happy to let them go pretty cheap. So if anyone wants a quote for a proxy, just shout. Personally, I think they're really impressive. Out of my price range for now, but I'd be happy to help. They have some others (moon, calendar and some others) in yellow gold that I didn't try on, but I find these especially delicious:

Mayu: I love the power reserve in the back, seems to be on most of their models.

Henry double hairspring in white gold (sorry I forgot the rear shot - me of all people!):

It is a very good suggestion...

Wearing gloves branded Foot Joy has always struck me as odd.

+1. You just posted the same thing in 3 threads. Is that really necessary? "Poor" is certainly a relative term around here, but you might get some conversation if you posted in this thread instead, which generally deals with sub-$1K watches:

I still don't follow. If I have a watch that isn't sub-1,000 and I'm not poor, should I still post in another thread?

Great research by the way on my identical postings! Appreciate the support and advocacy!

Unless I'm mistaken, your watch can be easily found for around $770:

I'm not making judgements, I'm just pointing out your watch isn't going to inspire a lot of conversation in this thread, especially when you lead off with "My watch...it's the best style of all." You might get some more interest in the other thread. Don't take "poor" literally, it's just this thread is generally for more upscale watches. Hell, someone posted the Graves complication a few pages back!

We do tend to be more high end watches but we really like all watches here in TWAT. We do not put a minimum price to post clause anywhere. Hell I think posting the TWAT goddess with a Timex would get a lot of compliments.

Yes, the issue is not price point, but the repetitive and vituperative style of posting.

Also of all the Tissots, that's actually pretty ugly.

Cool man...thanks for the tip...I disagree with you, but that's what makes these forums so great, right?

I don't buy online...only at a dealer in my community to keep my money local...so I paid full retail and happy/proud to have done so...

I love your opinion about my watch. Multiple view points are awesome, but it doesn't change my thoughts on it at all...

Sorry if I was being vituperative...not my style or intention...that's a really great word by the way...nice job!
