1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I will have to check Tudor's out when I am in Europe next time. Also congrats on the pick up and I bet you are just as excited as I am

Thank you. Yes indeed. I've been looking for a watch like that for quite some time. It's perfect for me.

;) If I get just the right kind of watch for her, she won't even notice my purchase :nodding:

I love the lugless design. It looks very clean. Aesthetically, I think that Tudor has really been hitting them out of the park. I think that the watch you chose will age very nicely!

I look forward to seeing more pictures of both the "bruiser" and the Tudor!

I normally take a long time to consider an item before I purchase (not only because of my wife lol), but this spoke to me the moment I saw it and I moved quickly to secure it. Hopefully the watch and I can age gracefully together :satisfied:

back to my previous "Rado gift from my uncle" deal.... I haven't gotten around to trying them on yet as I need to find a shop with a larger selection, but from what I've seen online the Hyperchrome seems to be pretty nice... thoughts?

    Thanks Stitchy.

I'd take it now, though I thought, taking my wife into consideration, she'd be happier if I paid it off over time :embar:

Is hyperchrome more of a black or graphite in person?

yeah me too... but as a gift, hey I'm not complaining. "Neat" is good right?

I did see one at the duty free shop at LAX.... if by graphite you mean more grey-ish then IIRC it is more "true black"

A lot of posts to catch up on since last week; I'll do that later!

In the mean time, thank you all so much for your kind comments on this. I thought I'd drop by quickly with a simple wrist shot. My son is delighted with his new watch, and it looks great on him! Here it is, along with the watch my father gave me:
