I love chronographs but they're not dress watches.

    Or this one.

That's more of a dress watch.

But less is more, as far as dress goes.

    Thank you for the reply.

    I agree completely . . .

    Any opinion on the quality?

The pairing of a tool watch with a suit denotes a tool.
    - wow.. Harsh words.. I have to disagree.. But I'm no tool..

You're probably right. My woman has a headache so there's some trickle down.

That said, there are dress watches and there are sport/tool watches.

Please forgive my asking questions in this thread instead of posting pictures, I just didn't think this warranted a new topic, and I don't feel like signing up to Timezone.

Does anyone know the strap size for this Seiko? I'm going to order it from Roachman, but also want to order a leather band at the same time, because I don't like bracelets and don't want to wait to measure it myself. Thanks a lot.

I'll also re-post this photo by sanrensho, which confirmed that I needed this watch as my first automatic, and needed it to have a leather strap.

I just double-checked my watch. The strap size is 18mm. Also the buckle size is 16mm.

That's a damned handsome watch. I have problems getting my cuffs around those wrist beasts, but I love 'em.
