Hi, sorry if this isnt the correct thread to be asking this in but im looking to buy my first nice watch. It needs to have a leather strap, preferably black but colour isn't too big of a factor.

Id like to have one with a classic face, not to busy and definitely do not want one that tells me water depth or altitude, ect. Just needs to tell the time only.

Ideally something like this would be perfect but i only have £150 max ~ $300 to spend.

    Thanks

I bought this Skagen model last week, nice and simple design, $259 SGD.

No BMW, fountain pen, pointy bespoke shoes or lady/man bag in this picture. [IMG] [IMG]

Anyone got experience with https://www.watchband-shop.com/ It was reccomended by a friend, but given the pricing I can't imagine that their products would be much chop. Cheers M~

woolymammoth - great collection! I especially envy your FPJ Octa...these watches are only a memory now as I have narrowed my watches over time to a simple Grand Seiko and a Rolex OysterQuartz. [IMG]

I am just marvelling at the incongruity of an Exploited album and a Lange watch in the same post, Wattie would be proud.

This struck me as well, along with the Lichtenstein and Watchmen (hee hee) images.
