Good point. From the brochure, it looks like that what they did.

I agree with this as well, the overlapping date as well as the second face has a negative impact on the harmony of the dial layout. I prefer the smaller version for that reason.

Irrespective of your decision, its a great watch and worth the liquidation of the collection.

Wish they made the Nomos without the label and without the sub dial.

That would be my perfect dress watch.

Looks like the Stowa is running a couple minutes fast[IMG]

Here is my current favourite that gets worn pretty much every day. I posted this watch... but a different picture a few months ago. I plan to make another watch purchase in the next month... so hopefully this one will get a little rest every now and again[IMG]

Thanks imightbechad! It's an Omega Speedmaster Professional Limited Edition (40th Anniversary of the first space walk). It has the exact same case and movement of the regular non-LE speedmaster.

    Obama's watch, choose your logo.

Could be OK for a beater watch.

Pretty ugly...but I guess American politicians have to appeal to the everyday folk....didn't Mccain get a lot of attention for wearing fancy italian loafers? [IMG]

Here's a pic of my new Explorer II white dial. I've left her at home today to enjoy some time with my IWC Pilot Chrono.

Question for you watch guys---- is there anything to fix on a quartz movement that wears out over time? I just pulled an old watch out of a 15 year retirement, and its not keeping time very well?

Are you sure it's quartz? I thought the battery would be well dry if that watch had been stored for that long.

Sorry about the really bad quality photos. I just moved and can't find my tripod.

Anyway, here's a Breitling Chronomat Evo and a Hamilton X-Wind. I've replaced both watches with different bracelets. The Breitling is on the Ocean Racer strap and the Hamilton is on the Khaki Field Canvas strap.

I have one of these that I'd be willing to part with for cheap ($200 or so) if anyone's interested.
