I'll have to go check it out. That's less than 5 minutes away from me. What's his name?

Jason, I think. Tell him the musician with the Tissot sent you. :)

First, apologies for the crappy photos skills. I was trying to grab quick shots of the groom at my friend's wedding.

A little story. My friend Erika gave me a task -- to find a really cool, good quality watch for a specific price to give as a wedding morning present to her fiance. After some research on Timezone and my BMW forums, good folks directed me to Stowa, Sinn and one Christopher Ward. A few others, too. The Christopher Ward watches really grabbed my attention, and hers, too. The right look, a cool website, and, definitely the right price!

She settled on the Malvern Chronograph. Because of the anomalies of the website that day, the order click suggested that her card was not accepted. We tried again. Same result! Argh!!! Then, she received two confirmation emails. A little panic set in as the wedding was in one week and the CC company called to ask her about purchases (this particular card is rarely used). Emails and calls to Christopher resulted in the most amazing CS. The mistake was corrected and another watch dispatched DHL to get to the wedding on time. One CS rep even emailed Erika on her Blackberry from her Barbados vacation to help resolve the situation! They really go the distance.

Now, the reason for the post. No matter how good the photography on the site, they do not do these watches justice. Simply, one of the most gorgeous watches I have seen. I'll be ordering a couple of Chris' watches for myself. The quality and luxury look are superb. Personally, I don't know how he does it. Rolex must have the most astronomical markup! LOL

Many of my trousers have those small watch-pockets in their waistbands. Mostly, it's for black/white tie, though.

You guys are honestly making me sick. I'm one of those people who can't seem to wear watches. At least none that I want to keep working for any amount of time.

I've always felt I was relegated to Fossils or something cheap because I either lose them or smash them.

Then again, that was in my younger days. I shattered my favorite watch on some punks face in a Green Day pit once. Never trusted myself with nice watches after that.

Not to say I purposefully try to buy hideous watches.

    *braces for ridicule*

Sorry for the impromptu iPhone blurry-shot.

I'm actually inspired to save my ducats and purchase something of quality after reading this thread.

My first two non-quartz watches: a 1962 Omega Seamaster (34 mm) and a Stowa Airman Ikarus (40 mm). I partially credit/blame this thread with getting me interested in nice watches.
