Thank you! Now I have nothing to worry about if Bane or one of my arch-enemies tries to cripple my operations by siphoning off the resources of Wayne Corp. I beat them to it! I do have to make sure they don't get at the watches.

I would have to disagree witth with this statement, shirts are a dime a dozen! Certain dress shoes and sneakers are much harderto come by!

It was a joke referencing that his new watch doesn't fit under his cuffs.

But personally, I'm more likely to notice the cuff issue when someone is wearing a nice watch than a shoe issue. But that's just me. Regardless, my statement was meant as a joke and good natured ribbing; hopefully Frills took it that way.

Also, for me shirts are no where near dime a dozen, but that is way OT for this thread. Different strokes and what not.

Right, so you have a collection of Patek Philippe watches priced like sports cars, acquired in the space of three months, but you rent a Prius to go and buy thrifty toilet paper. Frilly, there's no two ways about it: you economists are properly fucking weird. [IMG]

Frankly I prefer the Speedy Pro much more with the black dial and the display back is generally a plus as well.

The one thing I would check on however is the movement. I know Omega had problems with some of their new movements around this time frame. I would check to make sure this one was not one of them.

    Thank you sir.

The fact that it changes shades based on light and angle makes it that much more special in my opinion.

I've decided to get as close to the goal of the one watch as I can by the end of the year. Realistically it will probably be three watch, but we will see how it goes.

    +1. Love your and NS's 5712 pics.

Yes, but I thought this was already a given! [IMG]

No offense taken whatsoever, and I do acknowledge that the 3970's 13mm height doesn't quite slip very easily into my shirt cuff. The real issue is that prior to my watch binge I had overhauled all of my shirts and suits. All of my shirts are now bespoke since I have weird proportions, but back then I didn't wear a watch so my tailor cut the cuffs accordingly! I had another tailor who was perhaps more prescient and included some allowance: those shirts have cuffs that allow the 3970 to slip in smoothly. But about 2/3 of my shirts wrap around my 6.25" wrist pretty snugly - no problem if I wore my 3940 since that has a very, very slim profile (about 8mm). But the 3970 is a wee bit taller hehe.

Could you elaborate on this? I have been shopping for a Speedy Pro so any info is appreciated.
