Red Sub on NATO is about as cool a "one watch" as I can imagine. Nice one sir!

Very nice. I really like Subs on NATOs.

Something a little different, but IMO worth getting behind:

    http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/help-fund-a-book-series-on-american-watches

The series head's kickstarter video is somewhat... unpolished (but sincere), and the (cute) publisher girl who appears later on kind of threw me with her accent (she is Romanian), but at the end of the day it's $150 for a watch book that appears to be not only lavishly illustrated and very well made, but one that covers a genuinely interesting topic which is quite badly neglected except for in a few sub-specialist fora. $150 is not bad for a specialist watch coffee table book anyway, and at the end of the day it's just 1 drink less at 15 or so subsequent bar visits anyhow.

Everyone knows about the Reverso (and rightly so), but there are so many other interesting art deco watches out there. The man who kickstarted (haha) me off on my watch obsession had (among other things) a Hamilton Piping Rock, and that was a really interesting watch that ticked all the important boxes - manufacture, design, heritage.

I saw that today Apropos. Very cool. The Hamilton one is pretty interesting as well.

Also, great Red Sub DD. One of my favorites, easily. It looks at home on a NATO (or ZULU) for sure. But then, I love NATOs and ZULUs. I bet you have a ton of fun wearing that piece!

I think I prefer Zulu's to NATO's to be honest. My NATO's always seem to become undone.

Regardless, that is a superb sub.
