    the L.U.C. ones are awesome. the others are not as good.
    I kinda like the Mille Miglia chronographs (although there are so many versions and ltd editions it is hard to keep track...). more pedestrian movement (Valjoux) than the L.U.C. but also a more affordable price point too...

    Greg is right about the Mille Miglia. They are fun watches and a very good value. I thought about buying one a few times but never pulled the trigger. I like watches much more than I like paying for them, so the fact I never bought one is not surprising.

    I remember some controversy over Chopard's L.U.C watches losing a lot of time a while back.

    Be more specific: which architect Saarinen was the well dressed one, father Eliel (1873-1950) or son Eero (1910-1961)?

    Greg is right about the Mille Miglia. They are fun watches and a very good value. I thought about buying one a few times but never pulled the trigger. I like watches much more than I like paying for them, so the fact I never bought one is not surprising.

    I'm also a big fan of the Mille Miglia chronos. The myriad of different dial combinations is both a blessing and a curse--there are a few clunkers like the electric blue, mixed in with the winners (black, white, cream dial). BTW, the 7750 is a respectable if not boring movement.

    Today's.... Croton-Nivada Grenchen from the late 50's. The watch that went to the Antarctic! [​IMG] I like the electric blue seconds hand and especially the numeric font. [​IMG]

    This is the best watch ever made. It's a La Crosse Technology WT981L atomic watch. It blows all these other watches away in terms of accuracy.
