FWIW I'm not a fan of B&M. I still have mine but almost never wear it. It needed pretty intensive servicing within a year of purchase, and I got nothing but flak from B&M about what was in warranty and what wasn't. After all was said and done I ended up with a watch that kept crap time and whose chronos kept malfunctioning. I won't be buying another watch from them, but keep the one I have as it was a graduation present.

All that said, yours looks very nice, Romeo.

+1 great choice on the Ingy 3227-01...I'm looking forward to seeing the newest iteration of the Igenieur whenever it reaches a local AD.

Great snaps of your VC, Dino. That caseback very much resembles a Reverso movement, although I couldn't tell you which one.

And this is my only barrel-shape, although I think of it more as a casual watch than a true dress piece, despite wearing it with suits quite a bit.. (apologies if I've posted this pic before).

It doesn't compare horologically to a Patek, but it's one of my favorite designs, and now my only Cartier after trading in my Tank Francaise:

Hi Keith, very nice Roadster. Its great seeing some watch cases in shapes besides round owned by other regulars here at SF. As you mentioned the Roadster is definitely a bit more sports watch than pure dress watch (especially compared to its siblings such as the Tortue or the Tonneau). Still the sportiness (and the quick change bracelet/strap) really makes it an incredibly versatile watch. I'm a big fan of Cartier, although some see them just as a jeweler rather than a watch company, they have made some great contributions to the watch world, particularly their single pusher chronographs. Also the LC Tank is IMHO one of the most elegant designs of all time and the ideal rectangular watch ...although I may be a bit biased as I have an LC Tank XL.

very interesting watch, however I'm having a hard time thinking of what a few of the letters signify (ex. "L", "AS", "B", "X", "ERU").
