1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I merely mentioned it in a list of watch companies I knew nothing about when asking for a reccomendation. Ater reading various threads, it seems this forum is not too favorable of B&R.

People who disliked these watches previously are now suddenly interested in them. Perhaps another case of the Guido effect?

I'm certainly not immune [IMG] .

    - you guys crack me up![IMG]

Can we get some lume shots of the B&R?
Here ya go from the other night. I changed to the black alligator as I was wearing black boots. (for some reason I thought I had posted these, I know I posted them on TZ & have converted a few - must be the Guido effect [IMG] )

Here's a real rarity, reported stolen on another board. It disappeared from a courier shipment in Italy: [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

What do you guys think of this combo?

I'm thinking that it will only look better when the strap gets worn, abused, & spilt on!

    Especially in summer.

FYI - the strap is made of a nylon sail-like cloth with a water-proof soft leather backing.

I would dunk that strap in strong black coffee right now. It will do it a world of good. JMO. Larry

In my blog, I post one vintage (in a VERY liberal view...) watch every Sunday, and I thought I might as well share it with you. [IMG]

    More will come, stay tuned.

there are a few large-scale croc strap sellers on the timezone sale forum
they also sell aftermarket deployants, though I find the OEM a bit nicer (and 5-10x the price)
croc straps (new) range from about $75 to 250+ for the OEM

I normally dont like fashion watches but for some reason I really like this? http://s7ondemand4.scene7.com/is/ima...82?$detail475$
I don't know what kind of over-designed crap Zenith likes to put out now but you should look at Zenith El Primero powered chronographs from a few years ago, which have similar design, instead of that Burberry watch and its $10 quartz movement.
