I saw a Milguass, relatively new, in the wild last week for maybe the first time. I was standing in line for my takeaway lunch and the guy in front of me was wearing one. I was actually really surprised to see it. I'm not a fan, but they certainly have a following, apparently.

^ Looking at Watchrecon and Chrono24, there seem to be quite a number out there for prices ranging from US$5,500 to $7,000. Much more choice if you're willing to look at the black- or blue-dial models.
Chrono24 also has a few listings for 1970s Milgauss watches. They weren't very popular back then, so as a result there aren't that many floating around nowadays and the rarity has resulted in pretty high prices - the vintage models seem to go for US$30,000 and up!
Ah, I think they're pretty cool, especially in the version with the blue sunburst dial and green crystal. Definitely not something you see every day, either. They've grown on me, to the point where I was considering one to wear as a daily beater. Unfortunately, the Daytona-sized case is a bit small for me as I prefer the 40mm proportions of something like a Sub or GMT much more. Still a cool watch though.
On this side of the water, the Millie is the only SS prolex one finds at dealers. I see them more often than not when I pop into an AD. The Bigly Shortage notwithstanding, they (and the Yotties) don't seem to be any more sought after than the panoply of Deejays and Opies that languish unloved in the display cabinets. They were initially a big deal when re-released, and people went crazy for the one with the green crystal. However, until the recent Rolex sport watch shortage, they were one of the sport watch/professional models that dealers seemed to always have every version in stock. Even now, with the shortage, I've seen one or two at dealers from time to time.
The only one I've seen in the wild recently was a blue dial Milgauss on a guy at a restaurant.

Thanks. Good catch. First picture has been deleted.@brax
I would probably remove the first pic asap. Your full name, adr. of you and the sender is on full display. If you are the Fernando B. i think you might be, then it will be wise to hide that fact also.
