Not how I thought they would do the Chrono.

So the Yachtmaster has come full circle back to the Submariner it was based on?

No, the Yachtmaster is 42mm and in titanium.

In fact some Rolex models just differ minimally, in an optical view, from each other.

Neither suitable to full gold, nor to two tones metal, the GMT-Master.

New Daytona is 1 step forward (movement/power reserve increase) 2 steps back (all aesthetic changes). Would have much preferred new color options to celebrate the anniversary. Glad I have the previous model.

The display case back on the platinum version is especially 😕.

Mostly a meh new lineup from the crown.

Edit: new skydweller colors are nice, I’ll admit (not that I’d really want a skydweller anyways).

I think that we can hardly expect something exciting, their commitment to immutability is exemplary.

What a better occasion than an anniversary to propose a new edition of the mythical Daytona "Paul Newman", but it's highly probable that we'll never experience it.

Yes, but it looks very much like a Sub. Not sure about the Titanium as I've never had a watch in that material.
