well you know, what young gaijin used to do back then.

I assume it involves street racing, drifting and hanging out with Bow Wow. About right?

I can’t tell you as I suppose it’s a picture of a movie that I didn’t watch.
Actually my friend is fluent in Japanese (I wasn’t then, I learned Japanese after) and we were avoiding American expats at all cost. We hanged with Japanese people only (that didn’t really like Americans either TBH ;-)Japanese had (I suppose not the same with the young generation) a strange relationship with US, seen as the nation that beat them. So respect and hatred were mixed)off topic, back to watches.

Love that city ! Enjoy!

Thinking of it, if my first trip to Japan (and to Tokyo) was closed to a movie atmosphere it would be « Lost in translation » (I’ve seen this one).

I'm not industry so I'm not there yet... only going on the public days on the weekend which sadly will miss a lot of evening events I'm sure.

Where do you guys get your watch rolls from?

I made an impulse purchase today for this Bennett Winch 3-slot roll.

Quite pricey (£595) but got 10% off and it feels really high quality - leather outside, kevlar structure and alcantara interior. I was a bit dubious about the choice of alcantara vs suede on the inside but I was assured it's quite durable.

Is there something else I should have considered instead?
