Absolutely not. Take one in your hand, feel it, look at it closely, and it will be obvious, front and back. I know some on this thread feel personally betrayed by LF but he's still visibly a cut above these brands, and the design is striking in the flesh, well, metal.

That’s exactly my point. If you zoom out on most round dress watches (my use of macro wasn’t meant in a photographic sense), many look the same. Obviously holding them and looking closer gives you a different perspective.

One of my favorite Breitling from the current selection.

So… looks like we are getting a new Explorer 1, a new platinum Daytona, a titanium Yachtmaster, a yellow gold GMT, possibly an orange dial Milhaus.

Another solid year of L for the crown.

For second I thought you were using the royal "we" and buying all that yourself.

Foo made a big deal about the bevel on the backpack-watch (DS Challenge), and that vid from Rolex shows another beveled case of some type, which would validate the hay he made of it? I'm not a Rolex-y dude so I can't just look at these images and discern anything.

Although distinctiveness is an appreciable quality, it does not necessarily mean attractiveness: those weird Daniel Roth cases are totally unpleasant to me.
Well, now you are just getting into subjective taste. I often agree with your taste , but here you're either drunk, wrong, or both. I really like the old Daniel Roth watch cases. As I've said before, no watch can be everything to everyone.

I almost sold off a bunch of my 19mm straps, but I'm glad I didn't. Only bummer is the pin buckle for this watch is really cool, but made for a small taper to 18mm whereas all of my 19mm straps tape to 16mm.

That looks awesome. Also, why the F*CK would anyone make a 19-18mm strap. That’s absurd.

JLC's lug-width to deployant-width designer should be punished. My MUT Moon is 21-18 with curved endlinks.
