I always found boring to set the date on my Rolex, but I liked the cyclop.

Next watch will most probably be a no date Diver.

What’s the story behind this vis a vis Doxa?
It's a long story, but there was a time in the 1970's when Synchron had a financial connection with Doxa and was distributing their watches. During this period of time, the Synchron logo appeared on the Doxa dial and its name on the case back and rotor.

Fast forward a few decades and Doxa hired Rick Marei to resurrect Doxa in the 1990's. He had either previously purchased the Synchron brand by then or would do so in the future.

A couple of years ago, Doxa and Marei parted ways and Marei brought the Synchron Military to market in 2021. This caught Doxa by surprise and it took them until last fall to finally release a Doxa version of the Army.

The Synchron Military uses an old Synchron Doxa case whereas the new Doxa Army uses a case very similar to the current 300T case.
