Ὁ βίος βραχύς,
ἡ δὲ τέχνη μακρή,
ὁ δὲ καιρὸς ὀξύς,
ἡ δὲ πεῖρα σφαλερή,
ἡ δὲ κρίσις χαλεπή.

Thanks, just spent 10 minutes thinking about that quote.

Alright, I like to crap on GS as much as the next guy but this is a good GS:

36.5mm, 11.6mm thick, 10 bar WR, and no gimmicks. A little ******, but 11.6mm is fine for me.

The 10bar is an underrated aspect of this. I've made the decision to move on from my SBGW277 for now to have some play money for other things, but I can see picking up one of these on the secondary market next year.

Spent the weekend in Boston and saw a bunch of friends. We had dinner at Scampo the first night and there were plenty of nice watches. The guy at the table next to me was wearing a 36mm Day-Date with a diamond dial. There was also a guy wearing a platinum Daytona and someone at another table was wearing a Speedy. Over the weekend I saw several guys wearing Subs, a guy wearing a Cartier Roadster chronograph, someone wearing a rg RO on a strap and someone wearing a 5711A/1.

A quick photo of the Day-Date the guy was wearing and then a few photos from a visit to Shreves and the Cartier Boutique.

I liked the Pasha skeleton a lot more in person than in the photos I had previously seen.

For those who want a steel Santos with some bling. It's only available in medium size.

The AL&S boutique is open, but I didn't get a chance to visit.

Nice report! A very pleasing amount of Richemont trash.

That's hot! Figuratively (and literally, I imagine).
