I got mine before the blue version was released, but having handled the blue more than a few times now, I still much prefer the black (Tudor’s shade of blue is just not for me...and I love the red triangle and gilt on the black, which I know is quite contentious to many, but...).

I own the blue, but like the black also. The thing that made me choose the blue was the fact that it appears almost black when its dark. Almost a shapeshifter.
That being said, i'm looking forward to the Tudor X Marine Nationale that is coming out. That should be amazing.

Roger Smith is the best proof there is that the finest watchmaking does not always equal the finest finishing!

I love what he does, but jeezus the movements are thick. He says they are that way on purpose to be more durable and long-lasting, but it doesn’t seem other modern watchmakers have had to resort to such chunky builds.

I mean, look at his new 38mm case for the above model:

It’s a manual, time-only watch for Pete’s sake!

Is this stylistic choice then? Some old-fashioned classic watches do look ok with unnecessary thickness. I have calendar chronograph that looks almost as thick and it makes sense. If this is really over 20mm then I am out.
It looks agreeable on the wrist:

I quite like that. Looks more like a LR Defender than the new Defender does.

They needed a better crash rating, the old ones were terrible. Great off road though.
