The full gold one is too much for me...the two-tone is the best GMT that Rolex makes IMO. I've handled them too and think they're awesome.
well good for you - it's way cheaper:) frankly after handling AP watches it kind of made rolex obsolete for me.

Yeah, I fall in the "APRO is ugly as hell" camp. It could be the most well made watch in the world, but the first and only most important question for me when buying is "do I like how it looks on my wrist".

Understandable that not everyone likes the design. I obviously love the design of the RO and hope to one day get a gold 15202.

I have the RO in gold and in steel, it is without a doubt, the only full gold watch I’ll ever own. Has a wonderful buttery subtle shade of gold (Ba). Love it.

AP makes the best rose gold in my opinion, the 15500 OR or if I had a smaller wrist 15202 OR are just beautiful. Definitely an achievable grail watch for me unlike the CE pieces that I love but will never spend 100k plus on a watch.

I don’t own any rose gold watches at the moment, not a huge fan. The full APRO OR would just be overwhelming. The steel/everose GMT may get me to the table, though.

15202 BA (yellow gold) with the champagne dial is my grail.

Interesting and tragic story:

Stopped by my AD today to put my name down on the “list” for the 6711 (unconfirmed reference number). Sadly, they’re losing Patek and now I’ll likely not get one - ever - unless I want to drop $100,000 or more with another Patek dealer or pay close to that for a secondary market Nautilus (will do neither).

Now... How’d they lose the account? That’s the real story. While monitoring secondary markets, as Patek and Rolex always do, Patek spotted a desirable Nautilus reference on a grey market dealer’a website. They traced the certificate and found out that my AD sold it to a customer days before. In other words, they caught a ******* flipper loser ****, and now my AD is fucked, and my Patek expansion dreams along with it. I ******* hate flippers.

That seems very harsh if it's a first strike for the AD. Are they now expected to due diligence every buyer? And how do you reliably screen out potential flippers anyway?

What's the general opinion on the Longines Conquest Heritage? Looks very stylish with an alligator strap (and also quite affordable) as a more dressy option.

I would reach out to patek (if you have a solid purchase history) - I have heard that some people got help when they lost their relationship due to AD losing status. I assume it needs to be more than a few pieces. But terrible situation - curious which AD it was - PM me please.
