I always thought it was boutique only but good luck. Post pictures here if you manage to get one.
It is. Burdeens runs the ALS boutique in Chicago though so it's really the same thing.
Is that part of the group of watch boutiques next to the Chicago Waldorf Astoria?
Burdeen's manages and operates them, yes.
I don't get out to Chicago as much as I used to, but I always enjoy visiting the various watch stores (and restaurants) when I'm in town.

Geneva Seal moved to oak street some time ago. Tourneau is gone. The Rolex boutique on Michigan ave is closed for the time being after having been broken into twice during Loot-fest 2020. Why I don’t know since all that **** is locked in a vault after close.
Yes, I visited Geneva Seal. I also went into the Rolex boutique, but as with all Rolex shops very limited inventory, the same for Razny, the AD for Patek and Rolex. I visited Marshal Pierce, and I noticed an RM boutique was under construction. I didn't know about Tourneau closing in Chicago. A friend recently sent me an article about a "Smash and grab" at a Tourneau. It may have prompted changes at my nearest Tourneau. Last time I was passing their mall location store, they did not have any watches in their windows or the showcases. It seemed like you had to go in and tell them what you wanted to see.
In our area - RM and Cartier lost some windows during the looting, but just as you mentioned, everything they have is in a vault after hours, so the looters didn't get anything.
Liking the Tortue.
