Might be genuine but the screws on the bezel are all wrong. The screws should be perfectly aligned so whoever performed the service on the watch or opened it last did a real ****** job of putting it back together.

If they aren't willing to provide more pics (or documents) then I would lean towards not trusting them.

I would never buy an expensive watch from a non-reputable dealer. Too many fakes out there. Make sure it is a dealer that certifies authenticity and will back up the purchase if it is ever found to be fake. So many good dealers out there that there is no need to take the risk with questionable dealers.

Also, many good dealers will service the watch before they ship it, which alone is worth a little extra money.

as @Texasmade already mentioned, the bezel screws are misaligned which would already be a warning sign that someone who doesn't know APRO's opened it up. Without pics of the back at least this is a no go.

right! The orientation of the screws should be such that they form a virtual perfect circle around the bezel. I’m not sure if that’s the correct geometric term to use.

This watch has been tampered with and I would be inclined to stay away.

Besides, it’s really not that appealing.

I looked online, found that watch and the seller does show a photo of the back. There are also other photos online that you can compare. I remember when these watches were new. Personally the color contrast between the steel and tantalum is very cool. However, I wouldn't purchase this example. Clearly as other stated, whoever serviced it/or at least opened it to change the batter previously had no idea what they were doing. APs can be pricey to service or repair if some had has done something worse inside than merely aligning the screws improperly. Also, are you aware this is not only a quartz watch, but also a bit small at only 33 mm?

There are no shortage of fakes, and I would never guarantee that something is real from a photo, hell I do not know the seller, some unscrupulous sellers steal other people's photos. Still the photos used look genuine. Its not a model I think most people or companies would waste a lot of time faking. Although it was a limited edition of 2,000 pieces, it was far from one of their most sought after models.

Again, if this is a model you must have, search for one that has not been opened by an idiot who has no AP experience. Good luck with your journey.

What other input are you looking for? You've heard some really good advice from a couple of people, with their reasoning cited. It seems like you are shopping around for someone to tell you its ok to buy it.
