Saxonia Thin is pretty nice, though maybe too stark/sterile for some.

BTW, while I know it's subjective, any artists or galleries with an online presence to have a look at?
FPJ's movements are nice , but I have never liked the very tiny crowns, and don't love the hands, and I find the the dials are sort of hit or miss. The watches are nice, I just don't have a desire to own one.
As for comparing to Pateks, workmanship is great, and I like some of their watches, but unless one is looking at one of their complicated pieces, many of their designs are stodgy and dull. They offered far more interesting designs in the 1950s and 60s. Today with social medial and branding being what it is, it has almost reached a mythical status where no one criticizes what they produce.
Agreed which is why I find Lange seriously underrated which is hard to believe. Really at their price point who is making a better watch. The datograph is amazing. Even the entry level saxonia punches far above its weight. I struggle to understand why the resale is so low compared to Patek.

Is that really speculation at this point? I think this is pretty widely knownEveryone is speculating it's Govberg who's now controlling the market. They've been really pushing Journe watches on their WatchBox youtube channel.

Are these the first Daniel Roths on this thread? Here is the family shot minus two, the Rolex Cellini that my GF has laid claim to and the FOIS that I am selling.

It's funny how it is supposed to be an understated watch, but the case shape makes it instantly stand out in your line up. How do they wear?
Mine are earlier mid size and wear exceptionally comfortably. I love them and they represent an amazing value, for the time being. Are these the first Daniel Roths on this thread?

My man still deploying capital in the face of historic uncertainty. Respect.Really want a Breguet Tradition right now but can't seem to find many used. Bleh. -_-
Would you purchase a westminster from a market stall?Gents, I apologize to interrupt. I recently got into Rolex and just wondering, does AD's reputation matters when you purchase Rolex?
While I was looking for ADs, there are different ADs near NYC. Wempe, Tourneau, London Jewelers, Watches of Switzerland and even Lee Perla Jewelers, Morre-Lyons in New Jersey. So, If you're buying Rolex watch from AD, I just want to know whether name of AD is under consideration.
