GS gets a lot of respect among WIS for quality and value, but I too am not drawn to them as much as other makers.

What do you think of the new AP 15500?

Meh, not a fan of the new dial layout. The new movement is nice though. I have a skinny wrist so my AP RO 37mm (15450) fits me like a glove. It wears pretty close to a 40mm Rolex sports model.

It's never about the diameter but the lug to lug. Nomoses for instance are unwearable due to the stabbing long lugs. 39 vs 37. Wears the same.

Damn stop talking watches. I'll end this by saying Rolex finishing is **** compares to GS that's sometimes better than even Patek. But I still love mine:

Really love this one and I generally am not a fan of white precious metals. Nice piece.

AP 15500 looks cleaner to me w/o Automatic and the broken 3pm indice. Not to mention a better movement.

That said, I'd still only buy a 15202 if I was going the RO route.

Yep. The RO has the integrated bracelet, which makes it wear bigger.

I’m just missing the VC tour in Miami (and Watches and Wonders in general). Stopped by VC and Lange boutiques. @RegisDB9

It looks a little bit off but it may be that I am not used to the shorter and fatter indices. We'll have to see if the new movement is as reliable and durable as the current one, too soon to tell. I remember reading that the 3120 had some issues when it first came out.

I'm glad to see they got rid of the chopped marker at 3 o'clock. I always found it bothersome. It just seemed like it was there to take up space on the dial because the movement was originally designed for the 39mm case of the 15300, and the date moved slightly inward on the dial, when the 3120 went into the larger case.

@cyc wid it That looks like an interesting place. Still not sure how you can pass the opportunity to see the the Jaeger Lecoultre store :) although a Lange store is always by definition impressive.

I feel it would look better with brown leather strap. That watch on a polished bracelet looks odd. Does it have giant lugs, they look 22mm? Those pushers, on this face .....I juts don't get it.
