Is this Rolex's coolest sport watch? Honest thoughts.
View attachment 2332157
Without a doubt the coolest Rolex released in the last 10 years!
Of current watches? Maybe. But are the lume plots even bigger on this model than on the 6-digit Subs and GMTs? They look really big and leave the hands looking rather scrawny by comparison. Maybe I'm just too used to the dial proportions on 5-digit sports models (which are, in fact, Rolex's coolest sports watches!).
I think it's just the photo that make the proportions seem a bit odd. Yes, they are larger than on a 6 digit Sub/GMT, but in person it all works. To be honest, as someone who has owned 5 digit Subs and GMTs (and still owns a 5 digit Explorer II) - the lum on all but the Kermit are just too small. Historically, if one looks at the original Subs and GMTs before they added the white gold surrounds, the lume plots were much larger and made sense, for legibility and viewing the time in low light situations. When I wear my 16570 it looks fine to the eye, but next to my Kermit or anything with a six digit reference, the lum plots seem too small and leave too much empty space on the dial compared to 4 digit Subs/GMTs and 6 digit models.

I'm presuming that means your kid puked on it? You gotta rinse that bracelet thoroughly.

Haha not yet! But I’m 100% sure it will happen. She’s been good so far but I remember my cofounder once showed up my old ingenieur 3239 with day old baby puke on it 😂

Do any of you folks know about these guys:

They seem to have very good prices. Any experience doing business - good, or bad?
