Symbol of Success™.
And timeless design.

Of course a lot of stupid and vain people want a Rolex to show off, or to pretend they are successful.
Still great watches though. I already had one so i don’t have this compulsive desire to own one.
But i’ve been reviewing best options for a Sports Watch, and i want one i will keep, that i won’t be fed up with. And i am always coming back to Rolex. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Swapped JLC MUT Moon, Speedy, and Bulgari OF for this:

This marks the end of my consolidation - at least for the time being.

Absolutely love this watch. Great size. Nice presence. Gorgeous movement. Perfect soporific, under the radar work watch.

Great looking micro-rotor movement. Hell, it's a great watch period.

No chance you'll miss some of those outgoing pieces? :)

The only one I miss is the 5712. And I can always get it again.

Very, very happy with my current stable: PP 3941J, Berneron Mirage, Chopard 16/1860, Movado Celestograf, Heuer 3647S, Rolex Explorer, and Tudor P39. Leans pretty heavy into thin dress watches but that is what I gravitate towards.

I wish the new black lacquer/turquoise AT bracelet is compatible with these AT's. Unfortunately they can't be mixed.
Yean, the new bracelet is a nice change. More refined and I think a better match to the AT lineup. Not to mention the microadjust.

I actually like the new Uncle Seiko AT bracelet more than the new Omega bracelet. I'm one of the lucky ones who was able to dial in a good fit on my AT 38 with half links, but have never been a fan of the polished center links. I'm thinking about ordering the bracelet in the picture below.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
