I've always loved this one, though I'm sure some here would consider it gimmicky.

The only Langes I really love are the Lange 1s. I generally find most of their other watches a bit too sterile and cold. I think this dial is enough to make the watch interesting and worth considering if someone is looking for a simple time only watch.

We will have to agree to disagree, as it doesn't bother me at all. It's an original in a world of copy cats, be it everyone one deciding in the early 2000s to add a grand date whatever they were making, or the worst offender, the GO Pano...simply a less attractive copy of the Lange 1.

I like the lange 1 but it's Too Big .

big date is meaningless on a 38mm dial . 'little lange 1' is 36.8 mm smh .

astonish me with a big date on 31mm

Got to check out my friend's Minute Repeater Resonance. Absurdly nice finishing, and a very cool complication! It was fun seeing and hearing the minute repeater in action. It is a big watch - but wears smaller than advertised IMO, quite surprised.

Both of ours together. Not a great shot but you get the idea...

So are all the Fagliano straps shell cordovan?
All shell cordovan are Fagliano but the Fagliano design is used on non-cordovan straps which are made primarily in France. And to add a little nuance, Fagliano used to source its cordovan from Horween but because of import-export restrictions they switched to an Argentine tannery. As Argentina now has a more free market President, Fagliano may have switched back to Horween. I’m not sure as its been a couple years since ive been to Hurlingham.
