Most worn is my Fears at 16.4% (yes, I track with an app), which I got at the end of January.
That Fears is interesting looking. I typically do not like California dials, but this is cool. I think maybe it’s the dial color. I also find it surprising that the watch you wore the most all year was worn not only less than half the time, but only 16.4%. How many watches do you generally rotate?

Here are my most worn watch and most petted dog of 2024:

I’ve had a total of 20 watches this year, but never more than 8 at one time. I’m trying to limit myself to around 6-8 watches onhand at any given time these days and since I tend to go for time only, no date, they can be fairly interchangeable in use. That said, I also went through a pretty major change about mid-year with the Moser acquisition, where I moved 3 watches that all had about equal wrist time with the Fears at that point. Then I moved another high wrist time watch a couple months later. All and all, watches that I no longer own have about 42% of my wrist time this year so far and that should settle under 40% by the end of the year.

I anticipate much less turnover next year and would expect to mainly rotate through 5 watches. I would guess the Moser will lead at closer to 40% next year, it’s really about as close to a perfect watch for my tastes as it gets.

@Dino944 im impressed by how few microswirls etc you have.
One of my watch friends says I have ninja like reflexes to avoid scratches and dents on my watches. Most of his watches look like he ties them to the back of a FedEx delivery truck, and he lets them drag his watches on the streets as they do their delivery routes ;):rotflmao:

I really like this Reverso but I‘m not really in the market as my wife has identified her next watch as a Reverso. Not gonna play the matchy-matchy game. The dial reflects much more light than the picture would suggest.

Not all curved spring bars are curved the same amount apparently. This strap I had purchased for my original Ming watch almost 5 years ago would not properly seat into my newest Ming watch (though it did work on my Moser which also needs curved end straps). I ended up buying some curved springbars from the Windup Watch shop and now we're back in business.

Definitely the LOMS endorsed Explorer. While there are occasions where other watches might be "better", I can't think of one where this one is "wrong". Always comfortable, keeps great time, etc.

Ditto. I love mine as well.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
