met 2 guys driving a 1971 Mini Cooper.

Those old school Mini's are so fvcking cool.

A couple of years ago, I had so much fun chasing a guy around the track in a RHD 70's Mini. It looked pretty original in a nice British racing green, white roof/racing stripes and tiny 13" wheels. I don't know what they do to the engines and I probably had 200HP on him but he was just as quick in the corners.

During the first lap, he pointed me by on a straight and then proceeded catch right up a moment later.

The best part is when he makes fun of losers on watch forums while revealing himself as an even bigger loser for talking to himself about watches. So who is it on here? Come out and identify yourself. You deserve a pat on the back and Texasmade will treat you to Waffle House.
His voice sounds super affected and annoying.

Man would benefit from a visit at a barber shop, he looks like a non trimmed beaver.

Hi all, looking for my 1st nice watch. I've narrowed it down to 2 of a similar price:

I do like a chrono and I believe Longines is a better "make" of watch?
I’m confused by the “nice” bit. LOL, are you serious? Don’t mean to be rude, but esteemed Newcomer wants to sell his law school graduation gift JLC MUT Moon because he blah blah blah, it’s not very “nice” in the end. Just keep that mentality in mind. Better not to take drugs to begin with. Proceed with caution. You clearly are not UMC and cannot afford it.

For the serial masturbators among us, don’t start edging. You will never secure your grail. 9thsimp won’t understand since he is playing his fiddle.

They are both fine for your budget. It comes down to which one you like most. The Longines has a busy dial, but that’s my opinion/taste. Also, you may want to try both on as the Longines is 40mm and the Brietling is 35mm (although I’m guessing you linked the women’s version by mistake).

They both have a storied history and are both considered somewhat entry level brands now. Longines has been much improved the last few years and is owned by Swatch which owns a bunch of watch brands from low to high end.

At your budget it really just comes down to your preference as quality and materials wise there is not really much difference among the big brands at this price point.
