Lose the HEV and they'd really be on to something.

That kinda looks like a 60th Bond Seamaster in black.

Still has that awful helium valve at 10:00. No thanks.

If it didn't have it I'm sure it'd look great.

However, devil's advocate here: I like it on this specific case. On Omega's traditional asymmetric case—the Speedmaster, the Planet Ocean—the HEV is not good. But it adds a counterbalance to the swooping Seamaster 300m case shape IMO.

I am excited to see what the bezel material is made of on this new watch. Matte ceramic like the 8500 POs? or aluminum like the NTTD and Bond 60th?

I like some of their watches like 1815 Chrono and Up/Down. I never really cared for the Lange 1, Datograph, or some of their other calendar complications.

Yeah, who cares about some old white guy had to say about the Dato.

Even in the moment, it just struck a chord. As Philippe Dufour once told me, "I saw the watch and thought, 'This is the best chronograph in the world. We will just have to wait and see what the Swiss can do to beat it.' Well, it's been 25 years, and I'm still waiting."

I moved a bunch of our European suppliers to China for this reason. China has CNY but Europeans are lazy af. Can’t even get replies after hours etc
