The watch owner gets sympathy from me, but he's in legal trouble. The law is clear that you can't use deadly force to protect/recover property.
On the contrary to what they say in the Sun article he hasn’t been arrested yet, but it’s a matter of time. The second thief is badly wounded.
It’s in the headlines here.

Awesome. Cool strap combo. Mine is theoretically done this month too...

It's a Delugs rubber lined waxed canvas that they discontinued. Apparently they didn't age particularly well and customers complained. As something that I put on for maybe a week or so every few months, mine our fine...but they don't feel as quality as other stuff I've handled from them or vs some other waxed canvas I've owned, so I can see why.

Of course, I was joking. He’s completely fucked… unless it was a steel Daytona, then he might be able to throw himself on the mercy of the court.

Jail time will be nothing compared to how he probably had to debase himself if he purchased it at MSRP.

Hello watch lovers,

a question regarding smart watches: Do these high-end, high-quality watch makers like Rolex or Philipp Patike (or so) actually produce smart watches? I am wearing out of convenience a Samsung Galaxy 3 smart watch that tracks my sports training (cycling, running, workouts, steps per day, kilometers cycled per day) and has easily exchangeable wrist bands in silicon, for sports when sweating, and brown and black leather when worn with my suit in office.

I track my physical activities with the smart watch daily 24h as it is synchronized with the health and fitness app of my public healt insurance here in Germany, the "Techniker Krankenkasse" (= "Technicans' health insurance").

I have not seen any smart watch from the luxury watch makers you present here.

Best regards

Pascal

Olympians and their watches, at least this one

Best internet comment I've read on Omega's involvement in timing the race: Rolex would have put the runners on a waitlist of a year for the result.

Pretty amazing that Lyles won while wearing a watch. You would think that 100m runners would wear as little extraneous things as possible. Rafael Nadal wears his signature Richard Mille on his right wrist while playing tennis, but that's a whole different matter.
