LOL. I get that it is your travel watch to be stolen without remorse, but Waffle House patrons have better taste than that. You would probably be offered a Rolex as a consolation prize after eating a Texas bacon egg and cheese.

Minor update: I actually had my beni ourain appraised by three different shops in New York and all agreed it is authentic, and worth multiples of what I paid. The appraised prices ranged from $6,000 to $9,000. We paid $1,200.

I miss days like this when 1200 bucks mattered. One cannot even polish center links on an Oyster for such a bargain nowadays.

If you haven’t read that thread, consider yourself lucky. But in most respects, we TWATs aren’t so different.

At least with a carpet you can ask your guests to take their shoes off before the walk all over you.
