The 2201.50 PO 42mm is one of the three on my list. I was contemplating finding a watchco 165.024 but realized I’d much prefer a modern watch with modern movement and serviceability and am willing to deal with an extra 2mm thickness and a date window to get almost the same thing
If Omega reissued that watchco Seamaster in the $7k-8k range, they’d have 1 million watch preorders before the watch even shipped to AD’s.

Boom. Brand new from the ad! Previous spend in the hundreds, not thousands. They must have been drudging the bottom of the list. And probably not allowed, but let me know if anyone is interested in a recently serviced 16570 with everything.

Isn’t Harry’s Explorer his Battalion watch… far more meaningful than a mummy gift.

Correct.

Prince Harry's Explorer II is one of only 48 existing models, and was made as a special order for the Attack Helicopter Regiment, in which Prince Harry served.

From the (a mostly caustic but often accurate dickhead) GSElevator guy. Same thing applies to Richard Mille I think.

"Now is a good time to remind people that you’re quietly confident. So opt for a Breguet Classique ($48,000) or a Jaeger LeCoultre Master Tourbillon ($39,500). A Franck Muller Retrograde Hours ($16,800) can be whimsical, but your job requires a uniform (a suit), so you can’t have one. These watches are best left to the RAVs (Russians, Arabs, and Villains). Also avoid an IWC Portuguese ($22,200); it’s the watch for the guy who never gets promoted and probably gets cheated on by his wife.
