Thanks. I only wore mine on the bracelet for the first 20 years, but more recently I've changed between that and a Perlon strap, as I both like the look of pre maxi case subs on a strap and sometimes appreciate the lighter feel and more subdued presence.

As for leather, I've never really considered one until I came across this navy Saffiano one - and I think it works rather well, especially with the slight fading of the bezel.

Love the old faded aluminum bezels. Almost looks blue.

At 38.5mm I had to try it on just in case...

Actuall this fits pretty nicely on my 7 1/4 inch wrist as well. I let my wife know that perhaps I could borrow this once in a while...she was not clear that was going to work.

Anyone care to take a guess at which one I chose?

I'm guessing the new Speedy Pro.

That’s a useful picture for me. I’ve got 6.75 inch wrists so it looks like a Speedy reduced would be the right kind of size for me and the 42mm likely too big.

Certainly the Speedy is a beautiful watch but in the end, I fell in love with this one.

I feel like this railmaster really fits my personality perfectly. Conservative but classy. Not a shiny edge to be found and it's got the goods under hood.
Wears great on the bracelet but I think it will look even better on a nice leather strap. Perhaps similar to the one my wife's speedy is already on. Will be working with David Lane to come up with some options.
All in all a fun day for us both. I am very happy with my choice and think this will work well for basically everything in my life. Of course that does not mean something a little more dressy will not be in our future. I already have my eye on some stuff but after this, going to be a while. Probably going to wear these for the first time this weekend when we are taking a little Vaca in Santa Fe. (First trip since Covid as we are both now vaccinated.)

You took the road less traveled. Congrats. Looks great on you. Wear in health!

Congrats! Wear it in good health.
