I had to look! Yes...there are quite a few Subways in Zurich.

There’s are also a few McDonald’s in Milan. Go figure.
Milan is a strange mix of the banal and the beautiful.

And definitely no five dollar sandwiches in Switzerland. It costs that to take a piss.

It’s a very industrial city on the outskirts, not attractive in the slightest, but the centre is beautiful, especially the arcades and the cathedral.

I had a McDonald's quite close to my flat in Milan. Hell, there's one in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

I’m fairly certain there is (or at least used to be) one directly across from the Parthenon...I remember chilling in the outdoor seating eating a McFlurry looking at ancient history, which struck me as odd even as a teenager

If you've ever been to Switzerland you'll know that there's never been such a thing as a $5 sandwich.
We had a layover in Zurich coming back to the US from the Mediterranean on our honeymoon, and the cost of a regular coffee in the Starbucks required me to take out a second mortgage. Switzerland + airport prices were pretty harsh.

Um, what's going on with the bilateral difference in the numerals? Your right side has really let itself go. Luckily it hasn't spread to the index markers!
