I bought an alligator strap from Camille Fournet for my Geophysic 1958. No rubber underside, but it's a really nice strap. It's kind of funny though because I got a navy strap to replace the black alligator strap that came with the watch and the navy strap itself is quite dark. Anyway, the pin buckle that came with the strap is the exact same that came with the OEM strap except it wasn't branded "JLC".
Have any of you purchased a SS sports Rolex from an AD since Coronavirus started? If so, did you have a pre-existing relationship with the AD? Just trying to gauge what effect, if any, Coronavirus has had on the market.
^^Harder than ever I'd say. Now even a basic sub is nearly impossible to get without a prior relationship. Even oyster perpetuals are hard to get. I went to an AD and in my 15 min there, 4 people came in asking for a sub and were told at least 2 years minimum and they weren't taking names
